Leading the Way: George Spanos and Laura Blum Named Co-Chairs for 2026 TTLA Domestic Law Forum

At Rogers, Shea & Spanos, we believe that staying at the forefront of the legal profession means more than just practicing law; it means shaping the education and standards that define our field.

We are thrilled to announce that Partner George Spanos and Attorney Laura Blum have been selected as Co-Chairs for the 2026 Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA) Domestic Law Forum.

A Tradition of Leadership

The Domestic Law Forum is one of the state’s premier gatherings for legal professionals. This year’s event will be held on April 2, 2026, at the Hilton Hotel in Franklin, Tennessee.

For Laura Blum, this appointment continues a dedicated legacy of service; she has served as a Co-Chair for this annual forum since 2019. Her deep experience in high-conflict custody and appellate work has been instrumental in curating a curriculum that addresses the most complex challenges facing family law practitioners today.

“Our goal is to provide practitioners with the tools they need to achieve the best possible outcomes for their clients during some of life’s most challenging moments,” says Blum.

Expertise on Center Stage

In addition to his role as Seminar Chair, our Nashville divorce lawyer, George Spanos, will also take the podium as a featured speaker. As a Board-Certified Family Trial Law Advocate, George will share his insights on complex domestic litigation, an area where he has consistently set a high bar for excellence.

“The TTLA is a vital organization for protecting the rights of Tennessee families,” Spanos noted. “This forum provides a critical platform for attorneys to stay at the forefront of evolving family law statutes and trial strategies.”

What to Expect at the 2026 Forum

The event is designed to offer a comprehensive day of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits. This year’s focus includes:

  • Advanced Advocacy: High-level techniques for the courtroom.
  • Legislative Updates: Staying current with Tennessee’s evolving family law statutes.
  • Practical Strategy: Real-world applications for complex domestic cases.

We are incredibly proud of George and Laura for their leadership and their ongoing commitment to the Tennessee legal community. Their involvement ensures that our firm remains at the cutting edge of family law, directly benefiting the clients we serve every day.
